Training, appointments, and specialist interests
Grew up on the Central Coast before undertaking medical training at the University of New South Wales
Worked at major Sydney hospitals and regionally in Wagga Wagga and Griffith, gaining expertise across the breadth of medicine with a focus on procedural and surgical specialties
Completed specialist training in radiology in some of Sydney's leading and busiest hospitals, gaining comprehensive skills in advanced medical imaging and being awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists
Further post specialisation fellowship was completed at Royal North Shore Hospital in advanced Interventional and Endovascular Radiology
Is one of the few specialists in Australia to have been awarded the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) qualification, in recognition of advanced and comprehensive knowledge and skills in interventional radiology
Now works as a consultant interventional radiologist across both the Central Coast and Sydney, at the Gosford, Prince of Wales and North Shore hospital campuses
Practices across the breadth of the specialty in both adults and children, with particular interests in embolisation and cancer
Frequently presents at conferences and meetings in interventional radiology. Actively involved in the education and supervision of specialist trainees, junior doctors and medical students
Outside of work, he enjoys running, surfing and raising his young family with his wife
